Douglas Faulk Jr

A trip to the emergency room, having to receive stitches above the left eye and leaving a lifelong scar from the age of three, still didn’t stop the Brooklyn, New York-bound singer, actor, businessman, and extemporaneous creator, Douglas Faulk Jr., from pursuing his lifelong dream of entertainment.

On February 26, 2003, about an hour and 15 minutes before midnight, Douglas was born in a hospital in downtown Manhattan.

A cute and chunky newborn would have his family in awe, unaware that they were also welcoming a loud, energetic, and highly theatrical child whose love for music could be heard long before it could be professionally trained.

This made his mom aware of the talent that he possessed. Seeing the potential, she invested in him, leading an eight-year-old Douglas, with a huge passion for entertainment, into modeling.

Later, he would go on to do background work and endure the beautiful and extravagant life of child labor in New York, working on many films and television programs such as Annie (2014), Law & Order: SVU, The Good Wife, and Blue Bloods.

He then moved on to the theater world, starring and singing in four Off-Broadway plays such as The Wizard of Oz and Once on This Island.

He knew he had star power in both his acting and singing after an audience member stopped him after a performance to say that Douglas's voice had completely stolen his attention.

That same amazing voice helped him graduate with a music endorsement from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, star as one of the lead singers in a UFT commercial, and perform for the secretary of City Councilman Mark Treyger.

With a Bachelor's degree in Music, Douglas continues to work on music and various projects while reassuring his three-year-old self that hard falls are necessary to get back up from.
